Restock mounding is an essential step in preparing previously harvested forestry sites for successful replanting.

By creating raised planting mounds, the soil is improved for young trees, providing better drainage, warmer soil conditions, and reduced competition from surrounding vegetation.

Using specialist low ground pressure forestry excavators, we can carry out restock mounding efficiently while protecting sensitive ground and minimising soil disturbance. Our equipment allows us to work effectively across soft, uneven, or challenging terrain commonly found on forestry sites.
